  1. Diary No 117 Alioran (Again, this was technically for yesterday, I will post today's entry tonight) Dear Diary, This morning I had a nice small chat with @Sky before I ate my breakfast. I was also really poor at that moment after 3rd job, and I decided to try AFK drilling for the first time in my life. I had to get the Tapasco Volcano of course. I could've used the port devices from Megalopolis, but I didn't know about that, so I just went ahead and just walked over. My Shield of Heaven couldn't get me past Tap Field 3, so @taehyung came and picked me up at Tango's Cabin and helped me get through. I finally tried it out and wow, I got so happy about all the money that I accidentally added 4 level up points to MD instead of MA. But it was okay cause I go enough money for a graph reset, which I was planning to get anyways. I spent the rest of the night autodrilling and finishing up my own work, and I finished a small request :) That's it for today (technically yesterday again). Till next time, as always thanks for listening! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2. Diary No. 107 Alioran (This was actually meant for yesterday, but I stayed up late finishing 3rd job and had to make new visuals. I'm gonna post today's diary tomorrow morning and then tomorrow's diary tomorrow night. I hope that's okay Sky :( Let me know if that won't work) Dear Diary, Today I wrapped up the Mirage Island Quests, for lvl 80 at least. I'm pretty sure I spent a few hours to drill for that Bloody Rune of Fate.... MANUALLY. The nice part was that I got to lvl 130 with a few more quests and I went straight to getting stuff for 3rd job! I do think it's strange that the door talks to you. Then I went farming for the job adv stuff, which was really scary cause I was technically the right level for this part rather than being overleveled. It was kinda scary but I finished it, now I'm 3rd job! Before I even got to Ghost Blue XD. Stayed up way too late to finish it... Anyways that's it for today (technically yesterday). Till next time! As always, thanks for listening! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. Diary No 89 Alioran Dear Diary, Today I got on to finish the Mermaid Palace quests, which I did! Hooray! Moving onto the story quests :) Boy, this place has items even more sparse than mermaid palace. It was so difficult to drill for the stuff, but I also finished that stuff. I had to go get chocolate as well, so I spent the time at coral beach spending my mana first killing bad furies for cards before drilling. Trying to be efficient 8) What I don't understand is how Enkicladus knew about serotonin... seems very out of place.... Also, I didn't like how our characters are like "I'll help you scary monster who's not actually bad!" and then "Sure, jerky dude, I'll help you get poison to kill the monster that wasn't all that bad." Well that's it for today. Can't wait to start drilling for that Bloody Rune of Fate... Till next time! As always, thanks for listening! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Skills and Cards Guide

Alright, thanks for letting me know! I'll be editing that soon. And it probably wasn't an active change, it could have been a change that happened after Season 2, which we're running right now (I think). You can always put a suggestion in to change it!

    Skills and Cards Guide

Hey Tricksters! I was working on another compilation for skills and cards and I thought I might as well make this a guide. I hope this helps you out! If you have any questions, suggestions, or see any errors, please let me know! You might be wondering why I didn’t separate skills and cards, but technically the skills you get ARE cards, and most of your skills need cards as mastery items. This is mostly a guide for beginners, as it covers basic info. For veterans, you’re probably just interested in the 3rd Job Skill Acquisition, Skill Mastery, Card Girl Quests and Card Summary sections. This guide isn’t finished, but I wanted to get the charts out to everyone. I will finish it though, so please be patient! :) Here’s another google sheets for all the charts on this guide (careful, it’s quite image heavy!): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IM8s2HqqDKtM8mpyfkV_ssdVLKdxqoeAsIV9dMKeHsA/edit?usp=sharing Here’s an imgur link to the album with the images (no notes though): https://imgur.com/a/KOtLdjD I can’t post too many screenshots at the moment due to me starting over on a new account, but once I get to that point I will post new images on the guide. TABLE OF CONTENTS I. Skills A. Skill Card Basics B. Skill Mastery 1. By Class 2. By Area II. Card Girl Quests III. Enlightenment and Card Identification A. Enlightenment B. Card Identification 1. How Card ID Works 2. Summary of Cards to Keep IV. Fortune Telling V. BONUS: Card Battles
  6. Diary No 72 Alioran Dear Diary, Today I started off with Mermaid Palace quests. First of all, WHERE THESE WHALE JAWBONES AT. I feel like I've dug a hole in a corner of the map just drilling for stuff. Took a break from them to do the story quest. For some reason, I thought we only needed one dark cloth, but we actually need three. I'm glad the person I asked about it was nice and didn't call me a dummy 8) cause for some reason I can't read. Also beat Don Giuvanni today. Applied the HIT AND RUN tactic, and even though it took a while, I did beat him! I got 3 tears from him, one for the quest, and the other 2 for drinking. Even then, I'm STILL not done with the Mermaid Palace Quests OTL I was kinda busy today, too, but oh well. Hopefully I'll be finished soon. Well, that's it for today. Till next time! As always, thanks for listening! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Skills and Cards Guide

EDIT 6/6/2018 (added this note to the post as well): I took all of the info from the wiki, HOWEVER since LifeTO runs on an older version, some Mastery Items may be different. 1st job skills should be the same, but some 2nd job and 3rd job Master Items may be different. I will list both LifeTO Mastery Items as well as wiki Mastery Items together, just with wiki info crossed out so it's still there IN CASE LifeTO updates to the wiki Mastery Items. I won't know all of them, so if you find a discrepancy with the game and the mastery sheet, please let me know so I can fix it! The only ones I can confirm are Arrow, Cure, Mana Shield, Light Arrow, and Light Shield since I'm able to master those skills.

Oh really? Awesome! I'm definitely not there yet so I will fix up the post :) Thanks for letting me know!
  9. Diary No 59 Alioran Dear Diary, Today I went to go finish the Oops Wharf Quests. A lot more killing of the children ; ; but also evil crows and pirates, so it's not all bad. I was severely overleveled for the area, but that's okay! Makes the grinding far more bearable. It also makes me feel POWERFUUUUUUL!!! I also made a detour to phantom school to complete a card quest for the arcana card I'll need soon. Cleaned a bathroom of a lot of it's dirty toilets :/ but eventually I got the card too! I also hung out with my new guildmates for the first time drilling for stuff at Oops Wharf! We all helped each other finished it, then moved onto more story quests and Mermaid Palace Quests! I got kissed by a lot of ugly mermaids :( Like a Disney movie gone wrong. Unfortunately I had to go, but I was able to get a screenshot with my guildmates :D Well, that's all for today. Thanks so much for my awesome guildmates for helping me out with my quests+more! I'm always thankful for any help I get. Till next time! As always, thanks for listening! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  10. Diary no. 38 Alioran (I'm making this an excuse to make sure I get myself to draw something everyday XD Nothing fancy, just doodles. I know it wont increase chances of winning (and it shouldn't!), but I just wanted to make this fun and productive for me (aka just me being dumb). I apologize for the bad art in advance) Dear Diary, Today I woke up to start off the Caballa Relics Quests. I already got a lot of monster drops and job advancement stuff yesterday, so today was mostly just drilling a lot... I got enough Guina cards to master Arrow Rush, and I ended up going back to Poppuri Dungeon to grab some Koom Cards for Mist of Mana which I spent HOURS JUST TRYING TO GET ONE MORE YESTERDAY and I got 4 of them in under 5 minutes today ._. Oh RNG... Also spent some time updating guides since I messed up on a few things. Set up shop for a few hours to get some business done, then finished off the rest of the Caballa Relics Quests. I moved onto Oops Wharf where I had to MURDER POSSESSED CHILDREN. Why wasn't there any way to save them ;____; But now it's time for bed. Slowly edging my way towards getting my old character back from eTO! Thanks for letting me blab about what happened today! (Couldn't get screenshots working on the mac keyboard since there's no screen capture key, so I had to do it another way. I've got a time stamp though)

    Skills and Cards Guide

    B. Card Identification Oh boy, my FAVORITE part of the game /s… Card Identification and Secret Cards. This is the only way to obtain Secret Cards. There are 16 of them, and you will need them to create the Secret Map and get your guardian. Secret Cards can be traded, bought, or sold, so if you’re lazy and have money, you can SCREW THE RULES and just buy all of them. You will also get a random Secret Card from the Dimensional Card Pack you receive as a quest reward from the Soul Seed step of Enlightenment. You will need to be lvl 135 and 3rd job before you can attempt this step. Just keep in mind Card ID will give your seed secret empathy points (watch the flashes!). If you want a legendary guardian (again, see links above), you will need a LOT of cards (approx. 1600), time, and patience. If you’re willing to put in the time, stock up on cards and don’t start Card ID till you start empathizing your Soul Seed. B-1. How Card ID Works Card ID is basically a minigame where you need to match 3 pairs of cards (6 cards) out of the 7. You also get a little bit of normal exp and TM exp from Card ID when you stop playing. There are a couple of things you should keep in mind while you use this skill: your life gauge, the cards you use, and matching cards. Your Life Gauge (and Card ID UI) This is your Card ID gauge. Going from left to right Stage Level - this shows what level you’re on, and also how many cards you’ve used. The higher the stage, the rarer the items. People have debated whether or not this increases the rate of secret cards, so I can’t so for sure if it does or not. Card Window - shows you the card you’re using for this stage of Card ID Score - your score during your current Card ID session. Increases with each match, and you get a higher score if your combo is higher (I think) Combo - how many cards you match correctly in a row. Resets to 0 if you miss a match Life Gauge (number and yellow bar) - THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO PAY ATTENTION TO. Depending on what card you started with, a certain amount of life is given to you. For every missed pair, you will lose one life, but when your red gauge fills up, you will gain a life. If it reaches 0, the Card ID session ends. Red Bar - this increases for every match you do. You need 3 matches to fill it up all the way from 0. Once it fills up, you will gain a life. Where your gauge starts also depends on your card. Cards Used The life and red gauge is dependent on the card you start Card ID with. Cards range from 1-15. The closer the card is to 1 or 15, the more life it will give you. The gauge number that the card gives you cycles upward the higher or lower you go. Here’s a list of possible card numbers and the number of life and gauge it gives you: Remember, the higher or lower the card is, the more likely it will be a rarer card or stronger monster. You can only use monster cards or character cards for Card ID. Monster cards are dropped by monsters (big surprise) and character cards are given as quest rewards. Cards used after the first one (stage 2+) will NOT add more life or red gauge. Card Matching There are 7 cards that will be shown above your character’s head. 3 of these cards will have a matching pair, one will not. The cards each have a symbol with a color and an item. You will need to match the card with the same symbol/color/item. Everytime you make a match, you will get the items on the pair. If you match all 3 pairs, you will get the item on the card leftover. If you are at the weight or item limit, your character will drop them on the ground. There is a timer where other players can’t get your items, so you will have time to pick them up. Rewards include Secret Cards (obviously), compound stones, chaos feathers, and some other junk. Again, the higher the stage, the higher leveled/rarer the items are (not sure about Secret Cards). Strategy I usually go from left to right when revealing cards. The worst thing that can happen is finding no matching pairs in the first 4 cards (3 different pairs and 1 without a pair), and 1 life is lost when revealing 2 non-matching cards, so the most lives you can lose is 2. You’ll usually be safe if you have 3 or 4 lives left and don’t mess up, though there are combinations of cards where you will still lose all your lives. If you have bad memory (like I do), write down the color of the cards in order. You can start with a 3 life card, but you may not get very far in stages. If you have 2 or 1 lives left after you've matched everything, quit (by right clicking) and start over. What if I run out of cards? The general consensus is to kill Bad Furies at Coral Beach. There are a ton of them concentrated in one place so you can use AoE skills to kill a bunch at once. There will probably be other people there hunting cards, so be nice to your neighbors or come back another time when it’s more empty. You can also go kill Egg Specters (lvl 94) at Phantom School 2-1 (the one with the Maro Toys as well), or Tanya (lvl150) in Mermaid Dungeon 2, as they are far more in number in a small area than in regular eTO. BE CAREFUL, using your skills will count towards empathy toward your Soul Seed if you have it open and haven’t finished (the seed is finished once the wings turn gold/brown and it stops flashing). B-1. Summary of Cards to Keep This is a summary of cards that are used by skills of all classes and all Card Girl Quests. This doesn't take in account of the usefulness of the skills (that's for you to figure out! :3c). Cards not listed on here are safe to use for Card ID. *These cards are used only for skills that are not available in LifeTO (aka Chaos Tower skills). You don't have to keep these in this case; you are safe to use them for Card ID, but I put it here for completion sake. **You will need this for the Enlightenment quests, which asks for one of each of these things. For more info on these, check the wiki or Nessie’s Guide to Guardians on the LifeTO forum. To see where to get the Arcana Cards, please see the Card Girl quests. EDIT: Like stated in the previous post, some card quests are not available on the server. I will update the chart when I can confirm more of them, but for now here are the monsters on this chart that will be taken off or given specific notations: Desert Beach/Pyramid Dgn: Sea Scorpion, Sand Demon, Shell Trap, Fan Lizard, Isis Megalopolis/Poppuri Dgn: Queen Yamu, Kokebi Caballa Relics/Relics Dgn: Mandagora, Aposis Mermaid Palace/Mermaid Dgn: Super Golden Mole, Fish Guardian Tink, Fish Guardian Bell Ghost Blue/Nora Sewer: Torpedo Fish, Siremaid Snow Hill/Blue Ice Dgn: Icicler

II. Card Girl Quests The Card Girl is stationed in many different areas in the game and will ask you for a card to answer her riddle with. It will always be a monster card from the area. You only need 1 of the card to complete the quest, and you can only do one of each card quest per character, but it will give you a chunk of TM exp. Each area gives a certain type of Arcana Card, which will you need later on for enlightenment. EDIT: I've noticed some card quests aren't accessible in Desert Beach, even though she describes a Sea Scorpion card (also confirmed by people on Discord). They may not all be available on this server (I just took the info from the wiki :P). I will update this chart and the card summary chart when I can confirm what's still around and what isn't there. For now I will list the quests that are not available as I go along the story/key quests route: All Desert Beach Card Quests Megalopolis Card Quests 4 and 5 Caballa Relics Card Quests 4 and 5 Mermaid Palace Card Quests 3, 4, and 5 Ghost Blue Card Quests 4 and 5 Rose Garden Quests 4 and 5 Black Swamp Quests 4 and 5 Snow Hill Quest 5 Here are the quests: III. Enlightenment and Card Identification A. Enlightenment I will only cover this briefly since my guide is just supposed to be information on cards. For more info on enlightenment, please check the wiki or Nessie’s Guide to Guardians on the LifeTO forum. To start the enlightenment quests, you will need one of each of these cards: Arcana Brave, Arcana Smart, Arcana Dream, and Arcana Love. You can get all of these from Card Girl Quests. Take a look at the previous section to see where you can get one of each (if you go along with the key quests, you should be able to get all of them, except for Arcana Love, which you will need to go to Phantom School). You will also have to be lvl 65 and 2nd job, and you will need 5 Harkon Shards from Harkon Heirlooms, which can be found in the Paths to Mermaid Palace by drilling or killing Cone Stones. Talk to the Curious Poppuri in the Rainbow Cave to get started. You will then get the Card Identification skill after this string of quests. I will cover Card ID in the next section. I won’t be going over the next three sections (again check the wiki or Nessie’s Guide to Guardians), however for the last section, Shadow World and Mind’s Eye, you will need a Popeyed Anemone card, so remember that.

    Skills and Cards Guide

    B. Skill Mastery Some skills are one level only, so they don’t need to be leveled up or mastered, but require more TM points to learn. Otherwise, most skills can be leveled up to 10 as long as you have enough TM points. Once you get your skills to 10, you can master the skill with a certain number of TM points (usually more than what you need to level the skill up) and a certain number of a particular item. 1st job skills can be mastered with the Skill NPC who sells them to you (Paradise and Megalopolis): Master Louis (Power) Magician Sephira (Magic) Genius Cochma (Sense) Glamour Tiphreth (Charm) 2nd job skills can be mastered with the Skill NPC who sells them to you (Azteca and Megalopolis): Boxer Jeanne (Bunny) Bard La Fimmel (Sheep) Explorer Reina (Fox) Entertainer Elicia (Cat) Warrior Kei (Buffalo) Magician Louie (Dragon) Inventor Gale (Lion) Card Master Taniel (Racoon) 3rd job skills can be mastered by the NPCs who advance you to your 3rd job (Megalopolis): B-1. Skill Mastery Items per Character 1st job skills are same for both genders, then differentiate at 2nd job. For Hybrid Classes, please see the opposite gender's 2nd job skills. *Skill not available on LifeTO EDIT 6/6/2018: I took all of the info from the wiki, HOWEVER since LifeTO runs on an older version, some Mastery Items may be different. POWER MAGIC SENSE CHARM B-2. Skill Mastery Items per Area For those who are color blind, I've marked the Sheep skills as follows: N = Neutral, W = water, E = electric, F = fire, G = Ground, A = Air *Skill not available on LifeTO NOTE: This section has not been updated yet for S2 Mastery Items.

    Skills and Cards Guide

    I. SKILLS A. SKILL CARD BASICS Every class has their own skills, which they can learn from cards they acquire from their corresponding skill NPC, with the exception of 3rd job skills. You must buy these skills cards from these skills cards before using them to gain that skill. You can buy 1st job cards from these NPCs in Paradise and Megalopolis: Master Louis (Power) Magician Sephira (Magic) Genius Cochma (Sense) Glamour Tiphreth (Charm) You can buy 2nd job cards from these NPCs in Azteca and Megalopolis: Boxer Jeanne (Bunny) Bard La Fimmel (Sheep) Explorer Reina (Fox) Entertainer Elicia (Cat) Warrior Kei (Buffalo) Magician Louie (Dragon) Inventor Gale (Lion) Card Master Taniel (Racoon) 3rd job cards are slightly different as you can only get them through quests, card packs, or monster drops. Methods to gain 3rd job skills will be listed below. Once you buy them, you can go to your card inventory to view and use them. Right click to see information on the card and double click to use them. Then you can go to your skill window to view information and level up your skills. All skills require you to have enough TM points (ie Lucky Seven needs 4 to learn), high enough TM level to use them (Skunk Pouch needs TM lvl 40 before learning) and might require some prerequisite skills at certain levels before you can learn them (Mist of Mana needs Bottle of Mana Lv. 1 before learning). Every TM level gives you one TM point which you can spend on learning, leveling, and mastering skills. Be careful, once you spend points on a skill, you can’t reset them, with the exception of using a Master’s Authority (Myshop, one skill only, cannot be used if the skill you are trying to remove is a prerequisite to another one). You can earn TM experience from regular quests, monster quests, Card Girl quests, daily quests, and drilling. Not all regular quests supply TM experience and give only regular level experience, but there are some that supply just TM experience, and some give both. Some notorious NPCs that give you normal quests with only TM experience are the Monkey T grass quests (25 cycles but A LOT of farming) and the Clerk Z. Smith quests (requires drilling, only 5 cycles, but good TM experience). Monster Quests can be done a certain number of times. Depending on your level, you will get a certain target to hunt in a certain amount of time. If you run out of time or die, you fail the quest. Monster Hunter NPCs are stationed in different places, usually in the Hunter’s Guild if the area you are in has a town or out on the field. You may need to finish one hunter’s quest at least once before you can access the next one. Card Girl quests require you to have the correct card from a certain monster to answer the riddle. You only need one of them as you can only do them one time per character. We’ll cover what cards you need later. Daily Quests, like the name says, can only be done once per day. The NPC who supplies these are different for each area. A different type of daily quests are the Keeper Julio’s Storage quests, where he asks for a number of drillable items that increase with each time you take the quest (x10, x20, x40, x60, x80, x100). I usually don’t do these because of how much it needs of them AND they are usually quest items that you need for key quests. The shadow daily quests only supply normal experience and not TM experience, so be aware of that. Drilling can supply a bit of TM experience. You’ll get more exp if you find something rather than nothing. 3RD JOB SKILL CARD ACQUISITION *Skill not available on LifeTO **Card Packs can be bought for 100,000 galder in the shops at these locations: Paradise Azteca Aquarius Megalopolis Underground Dev Room Lobby Carbigal
