Phantom Dungeon Revival

Phantom Dungeon Poll

  1. 1. Should we re-implement the original Phantom Dungeon?

Recommended Posts

Hello, Tricksters!

As you may have noticed, Path to Caballa Relics has been very crowded lately. Aside from the idea of improving other shadow monsters, we're also thinking of re-implementing the original Phantom Dungeon while waiting for its revamped version. This is also to give players another farming option.

Just to give some hint for the players who are not aware of this yet, we're working on a better end-game content for LifeTO and that involves revamping of Phantom Dungeon. That means new set of quests, items, monsters, and equipment are going to be introduced in the future. (don't sell your current gears yet, it won't be implemented very soon)

Poll closes at exactly 11:59 p.m. on August 11, 2018.

For those of us who aren't aware, what was the original Phantom Dungeon?

The monsters there are dropping equipment that can be sold to NPCs for a good price. The twist is that the area is PK-enabled.

yes!! plus phantom dungeon/school is my favourite town map of the game overall, and it's a shame for it to stay as a literal "ghost town".

edit: thought about this a bit more with friends. as this area will be PK-enabled, is there a way to affect how peace mode works? as of right now, peace mode is deactivated the instance a player aggro's you. for players who want to quest/farm/etc. and say they don't want to participate in PK, they might find themselves being killed (accidentally or purposefully). for example, AOEs such as electro attack, that has a fixed # of targets, might accidentally land on a player (and depending on how strong the user is, it could kill them). another example, say you accidentally KS someone, and that player has now added you to their KOS list or something lol. the player is now trying to prevent you from completing any quests. this could cause a lot of issues for some players

changing peace mode to stay a constant and only activating battle mode with the user's consent could, potentially, prevent any griefing or annoyances. this would be an option for players who want to farm/quest in peace (pun), and if provoked or change of thought, can have fun battling it out with players too!!

also clarifying that this suggestion is for the revamped PD that might come later-on only

It's supposed to be high risk, high reward. There are other places where you can farm it peacefully. Regarding quests that might come in the future, you can always try going there at different times of the day or buy the items yourself from players that have done said quests :)

You may continue farming through glooms if you don't wish to be attacked by other players. ~
